We are looking for a world class Sales Operations Manager for our Raleigh Office.The Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for leading and supporting key strategic initiatives on the North America Sales Operations teams in order to engineer and deliver excellence in commercial execution to become first choice for distributors, end-users, and shoppers. This role will also ensure our brand strategy is cohesively brought to life and consistently activated across North America healthcare channels. The Sales Operations Manager will also be responsible for defining, developing and implementing channel marketing programs. Finally, the Sales Operations Manager will lead the development of organizational capability to ultimately drive sales. Key Responsibilities:Customer Marketing •Act as the “Voice of the Customer” working cross-functionally as the healthcare expert to influence and deploy strategy on product enhancements and go-to-market plans for the healthcare channel. •Develop and execute the brand story in the healthcare channel; aligned to the brand strategy and value propositions •Design channel and customer specific campaigns to drive sales through both digital and print selling materials, recommend plan-o-grams, tools kits, and impersonal marketing tactics based on customer needs •Work in conjunction with the Sales Operations Director, Sales Leadership Team (SLT) and Brand Marketing to provide Launch Excellence support during product launches, customer bids and other major campaigns •Be the channel expert to provide business recommendations based on channel opportunities—keep up-to-date on trends, needs, regulatory changes •Generate competitive intelligence to gain insight into the marketplace and provide business recommendations •Lead and participate in the development of new channel programs to drive pull through and end-user demand •Lead development of all post-acute distributor programs—working with account teams. May include tools and training for distributor reps, including Spiffs, growth incentives, promotions and annual joint business plans. •Create digital innovation (testing, tracking, etc.) for the post-acute healthcare channel. Sales Effectiveness •Lead capability assessment and development of training content primarily focusing on three core competencies: Product Knowledge, Business Acumen and Customer Engagement. Also working to facility content access to Develop for individual’s 70/20/10 development plan.
Required Qualifications:•5 years of experience with 1-2 years of healthcare sales experience •BA/BS degree required in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field•Previous experience in executing strategic plans, including effective campaigns with metrics and business impact •Experience leading projects with cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders in a matrixed environment •Experience managing to a marketing plan and budget Preferred Qualifications •MBA Preferred•Demonstrated ability to develop compelling go-to-market strategies based on brand strategy•Deep analytical background with a proven record of identifying opportunities, creating potential solutions and providing recommendations•3-7 years of marketing or sales operations experience in post-acute healthcare channelsCritical Competencies for Success •Flexible thinking•Continues Improvement•Cross-functional leadershipDomtar is an equal opportunity employer.
