A meaningful educational experience for a college student to gain valuable experience in their field of study; while accomplishing tasks and completing projects in an enriching environment. The intern will gain networking opportunities which include interactions with CHRISTUS leaders and Associates. The Intern will be provided with a variety of projects to support learning objectives in the areas of Performance and Process Improvement. The intern will also have the opportunity to be exposed to Quality, Lean Six Sigma and Change Management in support of the CHRISTUS Health mission.
Will be expected to multi-task on such tasks as: process document review, interviewing to gain knowledge of operations and assessing processes and the technology across the organization. Outcomes will include determination of the effectiveness of process controls, accuracy of performance data, efficiency of operations, and compliance processes. Interns will gather, analyze, and interpret data to evaluate and recommend improvements for the effectiveness of management, control, and governance processes.
Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with coworkers, management team and other key stakeholders
Complete learning objectives identified for Information Technology Process and Performance Improvement
Participate in short and long term projects related to Process Improvement
Participate in department activities and complete assigned tasks
Complete a written evaluation at the completion of the internship period
Adhere to all Information Management policies
Complete intern off-boarding processes
Stay abreast of advances in technology and lean management
