AMGA is looking for an individual experienced in health care delivery systems, particularly in communicating with a variety of stakeholders and enhancing relationships. With over 400 member organizations, AMGA is seeking to extend our outreach, gather key information on members, and position ourselves to bring additional value to member groups and partners. Working within AMGA’s Analytics department, this position will offer a variety of challenges and opportunities to learn and grow. AMGA Analytics is AMGA’s engine for innovative health analytics. We work directly with member organizations, helping them use data to drive clinical decision-making, enhance patient-centered care, transform care systems, and improve population health.

Direct outreach to medical groups and health care systems to gain understanding of structure, key operational systems, potential subject matter experts, conduct needs assessments and determine areas of interests
Develop and execute targeted engagement of medical groups and health care systems in collaboration with AMGA’s membership team
Understand current AMGA corporate partner offerings and value add services and make connections, where appropriate, to meet a member’s specific needs
Assist in the development of a database to capture and manage member details
Qualifications and Desired Experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience working within a system of health care delivery
1-3 years’ experience in member relations, preferably in a role that includes field communications
Ability to engage and cultivate member involvement
Ability to speak and write persuasively
Experience developing and maintaining a membership database (iMIS experience a plus)
Excellent written and verbal communications, able to think independently, and highly resourceful
Familiarity with health care operations, health care delivery systems and health care policies
