Responsibilities: The Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) provides womenâ™s health services focusing on pregnancy, childbirth, the post partum period, family planning and gynecological needs of women. The CNM will collaborate with Obstetricians and nursing staff to create a continuum of quality services to perinatal patients and their families and wellness care from adolescence through menopause. The American Nurses Association (ANA) Scope and Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics for Nurses provide a basis for practice.
Qualifications: Two years experience in Womenâ™s Health Field preferred.
Additional Qualifications: Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Basic computer knowledge including e-mail. Experience in the core competencies for basic nurse midwifery practice as described by the ACNM.
License or Certification: National certification from the American College of Nurse Midwifes (ACNM). Active Wisconsin Nurse Midwife license. Active Wisconsin R.N. license or eligibility to practice professional nursing in the state of Wisconsin. Prescriptive Authority is required for this position.

Hours/Pay Period: 80 Schedule Details: Monday- Friday minimum 2 Clinic days (8:00-5:00) per week. Equal call shifts split 1:5 with Certified Nurse Midwife group. 24 hour call rotations. Weekend Schedule: Equal call for weekend rotations in a 1:5 CNM call group. 2 CNM to cover the weekend: Friday, Sunday call for primary CNM with Saturday call by second CNM
