Assist in the development of the strategic plan the plan and identification of the measurable outcomes for creating a pipeline of primary care and specialty care physician and advanced practice providers candidates, and recruiting new providers. Responsible for managing to, and achieving, annual goals and objectives. Collaborate with HR and with the CHPG team for on-boarding new providers. Work collaboratively with the Hospital’s leadership, CHPG executive team, the on-boarding team, medical directors, business development team, medical staff offices and central verification. Responsible for assisting with identifying, developing and implementing appropriate and timely strategies for coordinating the recruitment of physicians and advanced practice providers in activities such as sourcing, screening and interviewing, planning and scheduling site visits. Assist with development of compensation and closing the engagement for a successful hire. Responsible for working with the finance department and physician contracting to ensure contract and offer are consistent with the organization's objectives for compliance and productivity measures, compensation, and incentives. Leads team of physician recruiters while maintaining own slate of candidate requisitions.
Minimum Education Requirements
Bachelor Degree required.
Prefer degree in Business, Human Resource or Healthcare Administration
Minimum Experience Requirements
Excellent communication skills and managerial abilities. Strong aptitude and proven successful experience in working with all levels of management.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in a physician recruitment setting.
A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a managerial role, including prior experience leading a physician recruitment team.
Knowledge of contract management / terminology related to compensation, productivity models, compensation and incentives.
Ability to plan, manage and evaluate multiple priorities.
Experience in or substantial knowledge of ambulatory, acute and other medical facility operations
Demonstrated professionalism and sound critical thinking.
Ability to manage multiple searches in short periods of time while ensuring professional customer service.
Demonstrated sound judgment, appropriate discretion and decision making authority within the scope of this role.
