THE POSITION In partnership with the management team and the Board of Directors, the successful candidate will maintain and enhance Bullhook’s ability to support and expand the outstanding programs offered by the health center. In addition, the CEO will develop strategies for increased funding to enable the organization to grow to meet the increasing demand for services, and to enable Bullhook to meet the challenges and opportunities presented by the Affordable Care Act and ongoing changes to federal and state-supported reimbursement models. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in maintaining and enhancing the financial position of an organization, strong abilities in fiscal and executive staff management and development and the ability to innovate by adapting to changing environments and identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities.
•Minimum of a bachelor’s degree preferably in Business or Health Services Administration. •A master’s degree in Business, Health or Public Administration or a healthcare field is preferred. •Five or more years of recent full-time experience as a senior administrator in a health care organization or agency, preferably one that provides services to a significant number of medically-underserved patients. •Must have experience at some point in their career with a provider of health care in a rural setting.
