Albany Thoracic and Esophageal Surgery, located at St. Peter’s Hospital, provides comprehensive and compassionate surgical care to patients who have a disease related to the chest. An established practice of three thoracic surgeons and recently expanded to Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY, we are seeking qualified candidates for this new full time position for 2018 placement.
Our highly trained and skilled surgeons care for patients with cancer of the lung and esophagus, as well as provide a vast array of procedures for benign diseases such as spontaneous pneumothorax, empyema, gastroesophageal reflux disease, pectus excavatum and hyperhidrosis. The practice offers a full spectrum of endoscopy procedures of the lungs and esophagus, as well as dilation, stenting and laser procedures. Minimally invasive surgical approaches are used in the treatment of both benign and malignant chest pathology.
Our physicians enjoy full access to a great team of caregivers, from medical oncology & radiation oncology, to radiology and a great OR staff, including advanced practitioners.
