The Division of Health Policy and Administration (HPA) in the School of Public Health at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) invites applications for a tenured faculty position at the Associate or Full Professor level as the senior position in a Chancellor-sponsored cluster hire initiative entitled "Health Promotion for Racially and Ethnically Diverse Older Adults".
The successful candidate should have a PhD in Public Health or a related area (e.g., health policy, public policy, psychology, gerontology, sociology, social work, economics) and an outstanding research background in health promotion/policy for older adults with an emphasis on minority or disadvantaged populations. A demonstrated history of building and leading collaborative multidisciplinary research teams is critical, along with a successful record of publications and extramural funding. In addition to holding a faculty appointment in HPA, this position offers a leadership opportunity in the Center for Research on Health and Aging.
