The MetroHealth System is a fully integrated provider of high quality healthcare serving all patients regardless of their ability to pay. The academic dermatology program of The MetroHealth Medical Center, a major affiliate of Case Western Reserve University, has an opening for a part-time dermatologic surgery faculty position with potential for expansion of this role in the future. The Department provides comprehensive skin care for patients of all ages. Services provided include: general and cosmetic dermatology, pediatric dermatology, dermatopathology, dermatologic surgery, laser surgery, and Mohs Micrographic Surgery. The department provides services at 10 locations, throughout the Cleveland area and surrounding suburban community setting, in addition to our main campus facility.
Qualified applicants must be Board-certified in Dermatology and fellowship-trained in Mohs Micrographic Surgery. Part time employees are eligible for academic appointment as Assistant Professor through Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. These are excellent opportunities to combine academic teaching with establishing a clinical practice.
