Harbor’s Edge is a luxury high-rise Life Plan community (CCRC) on the waterfront in downtown Norfolk, Virginia. Priority Deposits are underway and Conversions are planned for this Fall for an expansion that will include an additional 135 residential apartments and another 100,000 square feet of common areas.
The Sales Counselor will have demonstrated Marketing/Sales experience with Life Plan/ CCRC. Experience in expansions or startups is preferred but not required. In addition, the ideal candidate will be familiar with the Tidewater/Virginia Beach area and Senior Living industry which will quickly generate leads and promote effective community outreach programs.

Sell prospective residents on the benefits of a Life Care contract through multiple avenues, including face to face communications, mail and phone contact, consultation with family/physicians and legal advisors benefits. Maintain knowledge of competition and industry standards/best practices
Manage leads and sales through the Community’s prospect tracking system, follow up with inquiries, and initiate outreach to prospects and depositors.
Participate in daily tours, on-site marketing seminars events.
Implement referral networking by actively building relationships with prospects and residents, real estate brokers, financial planners, etc. Partner with outside agencies to promote Harbor's Edge through public awareness, advertising opportunities and community outreach programs

At least 3 years of Life Plan/CCRC Life Care communities related sales experience
Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to negotiate and close complex sale transactions
Ability to work independently but also network with local/regional competition and utilize referral sources
Strong communication, presentation, persuasion and writing skills, working knowledge of Microsoft, Adobe, and internet programs along with a keen sense of organizational abilities
Valid VA driver's license and be able to pass a background check
