Director, Imaging Services
Job Summary and Overview of Department:
Responsible for overall administration, planning, direction, and evaluation of the imaging services department.
Oversees Oncology, Radiology, Nuclear Medicine and Perivascular.
Oversees a staff of 80 employees
Technical background in all modalities. (CT, MRI, X-ray, Perivascular, Nuclear Medicine)
Radiology, CT, MRI, ED X-Ray, Nuclear Medicine and Ultrasound departments do approximately 1,000 procedures per month total
Experience with Physician Relations
Marketing experience to attract outside Physicians is preferred
Acute Care Hospital Experience is required
Qualifications and Experience:
Current CRT License
Current BLS Certification card from American Heart Association.
LA City Fire Card within 6 months of employment
Four years’ experience in an Imaging Department, including critical care
Two years of management experience
