Manages the identification, analysis and assessment of loss in potential cases determines the methods of managing risk. Assists FirstHealth entities and departments in identifying and correcting environmental conditions and work practices that could result in injuries or claims. Maintains comprehensive inspection and reporting systems to capture, investigate and evaluate conditions conducive to loss. Responds to patient and family concerns and investigates, providing interventions and follow up as appropriate. Acts as an intermediary to FHC administration and physicians on behalf of patients and their families.
Bachelor's Degree with a current North Carolina RN license. Five years experience in healthcare required. Background in nursing or business administration combined with appropriate hospital experience required. Experience in loss prevention, claims and/or safety management preferred.
