Associate Program Review Operations Specialist


Description

The Program Review Operations team (“PRO”) within the Quality and Compliance Operations (“QCO”) department in Business Practices Group (“BPG”) is accountable for facilitating and driving the end-to-end program review process for Program Review Committee (“PRC”) submitters, with the goal of ensuring consistent high quality, excellent deliverables and operational excellence of customer facing programs/materials.

The Associate Program Review Operations Specialist is accountable for providing non-technical quality review, proofreading and completeness checks for materials being submitted for PRC review.  In addition, PRO Specialists provide PRC operational support and training to PRC stakeholders.

Temporary staff in this role are fully accountable for compliance with all laws, regulations, and policies that govern the conduct of Genentech activities as they perform the duties associated with this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the quality (spelling, grammar, formatting, and completeness) of PRC submissions for assigned product(s)

  • Attend PRC meetings, capture comments/annotations

  • Onboard and train marketing agencies, and materials submitters on PRC processes and systems

  • Project manage and route submissions to reviewers leveraging a technical platform

  • Draft and communicate PRC agenda and facilitate prioritization


Who You Are


  • Proven track record of working effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Extensive experience in editing and proofreading

  • Experience using review systems (e.g. Zinc, Veeva, etc.) or a demonstrated aptitude to learn new technical systems

  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and to develop and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal communications

  • Must be able to multi-task with strong attention to detail and be adaptable to change

  • Excellent problem solving and planning skills, with focus on quality and accuracy

  • Familiarity with MS Office and Google Applications (Drive, Sheets, Gmail, etc.)

  • Experience working in marketing operations, compliance, regulatory/quality affairs, or editing a plus


Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 3+ years work experience
